Article Errors in Application - Bureau Error: 203: INVALID MIDDLE NAME
Symptom When you screen an applicant, the results returned with: Errors in Application - Bureau Error: 203: INVALID MIDDLE NAME An applicant doesn't have a Legal Middle Name Environment LeasingDesk Screening Cause The applicant's middle name was entered incorrectly, or N/A was entered in the middle name field for applicants without a Legal Middle Name Requires Support? No Resolution When there are Errors in Application, we can look at the Details link to find out the cause: 1. Go to the Navigation Menu (3 bars) > Residents 2. Locate the household and click View next to their name. 3. Go to the Lease Details tab 4. Under Screening History, click View Result 5. In the middle of the Scorecard, you see the blue Es. Click on the grey Details link to the right. A message will pop up with the Error code: Errors in Application - Bureau Error: 203: INVALID MIDDLE NAME 6. The middle name will list on the Scorecard, or you can click on the Application tab to view the original application To correct the errors in application and resubmit: 1. Go to the Navigation Menu (3 bars) > Residents 2. Locate the household and click View next to their name. 3. Under the Summary tab, next to the Applicants name, click Edit 4. Update the middle name as needed 5. Click Save 6. Go to the Lease details tab 7. Under Screening History, next to the applicant name click Cancel screen  Note: If you screened multiple applicants in the same screening, any link will work 8. Enter a Reason and click Save 9. Next to the Applicant name, click Screen now 10. Select the applicant (s) you need to screen and click Screen 11. Confirm that the middle name on the screening application is correct or Select the No Legal Middle Name for applicants without legal name 12. Submit the application
