Multifactor Authentication Setup

Set up Multifactor Authentication 1. Log into Unified Platform 2. Click Continue 3. You will be asked to download an Authenticator App on your phone. The two suggested authenticators are: Microsoft Authenticator Google Authenticator- recommended You can search for either of these authenticators in the App Store on your phone or by clicking the Android or iOS links presented. 3. Click Continue. You will be presented with a QR Code. 4. Open the Authenticator on your phone. If this is the first time you are using the authenticator, you might have to go through a short setup tutorial. If you've used this authenticator before, you should be able to add an account or click a + to add. 5. You should be asked if you would like to Scan a QR code or Enter a Setup Key. Select the option you are comfortable with: Scan a QR code: Select this option to scan the QR code on your computer. Your camera will activate and you will need to position your phone so that the QR code takes up the entirety of the box on your phone screen. Enter a Setup Key: Select this option to type in the Key shown under the bar code 6. Once you have successfully enable the authenticator, the authenticator should generate a 6 digit code. 7. Click Continue on the Unified Platform Authenticator Setup web page. You will be asked to enter a verification code. This will be the 6 digit code on the authenticator app on your phone. 8. Enter the code and click Submit. There will be a counter next to the code, once the counter expires, the code will no longer be usable and a new code will generate. You will receive a confirmation page letting you know that the relationship with the authenticator has been setup. What Happens Next Going forward, when logging into Unified Platform, after entering your username and password, you will be asked to enter a code that has been generated by the authenticator to verify you are the person logging in:
