Unable to Give Notice for Rentable Item due to Given Notice to Move Out
Symptom When you're not getting the Give Notice (rentable item) option before a move out. Environment OneSite Conventional Cause A notice to move out was already given to the resident. Requires Support? Yes Resolution You will need to cancel the notice for the unit before you can give notice to the rentable item. 1. Cancel notice for the unit: a. Go to the Navigation Menu (3 bars) > Residents b. Locate the household and click View next to their name. c. Click Move outs/transfers > Cancel notice d. Enter reason > Save  2. Give notice for the rentable item: a. Click Rentable/Assignable Items > Give Notice (rentable item). b. Enter the Notices given on date and Enter the Notices given for date. c. Select the item from drop down menu. d. Click Save. Additional Information When the resident is put on notice the item will be placed on notice as of the same date, the scheduled billing end date will be the on notice date. To change the item on a different date you need to edit the scheduled billing and change the end date. you have to change the start date and end date of the rentable item.
