Undoing a Completed Make Ready Request

RealPage: Undoing a Completed Make Ready Request You can undo a completed make ready as long as the unit being made ready is not occupied. Use the procedure below to restore a Completed make ready to In progress status. Your OneSite user role must include the right "Undo make ready" to change the status of a Completed make ready back to In progress. The standard OneSite roles of Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager, Property Maintenance Manager, and Leasing Consultant include this right. Click the Undo make ready link at the top of the Make ready board. This link only appears to people who have the authority to undo a make ready. This opens the Undo make ready page. If buildings are used at your property and more than one building has been set up, click the Building drop-down arrow and select the building number. In the Unit field, type the number of the unit the make ready was previously set to be completed for. Enter only the unit number, not the building and unit number. For example, if the building number is 02, and the unit is usually addressed and referred to as unit 02-115, then you would only enter 115 in this Unit field. Click Go. OneSite displays an error message for the unit, or displays more details for the make ready you want to undo: If no make ready has been completed for the unit, or the unit is occupied, you cannot undo a make ready. If the unit does not qualify, the Undo make ready box displays with a message to indicate the reason. For example, if the unit is occupied, a message displays stating "You cannot undo the make ready because the unit is already occupied." If you cannot undo a make ready for the unit number you entered, click Cancel to close the box and return to the make ready board. Use the make ready board search methods to find the completed make ready for the appropriate unit. If a completed make ready exists for the unit, then the details of the make ready appear in the middle of the Undo make ready page. Confirm that the details displayed are correct for the unit that needs the make ready completion "undone." After confirming that you have specified the correct unit, click Undo. After a few seconds, the Make ready board is updated. Select the appropriate In progress status from the Refresh drop-down list, and then click Refresh to see that the unit is now reinstated as In progress. Review the tasks in the "undone" make ready request to determine if any completed service requests need to be reopened, or any canceled service requests need to be undone. If you need to add new service requests, they will be displayed in the Extra requests column on the make ready board. In Leasing & Rents, the status of the reinstated make ready unit is updated to Not ready; this unit is then correctly reflected on the Availability report in Leasing & Rents.
